Camilia® relieves your baby's teething symptoms* ...
About Camilia
With Camilia, the transformation of your baby’s gummy smile to a mouthful of shiny teeth does not have to be painful. Just squeeze the small, pre-measured liquid dose into your baby’s mouth. The clear and tasteless liquid is absorbed sublingually without numbing the gums. The hygienic single dose helps prevent contamination and eliminates the need for preservatives. Camilia is recommended for babies 1 month of age and older.
Teething Pain?
Caring for your new bundle of joy can be both rewarding and exhausting — especially when a tooth is breaking through your baby’s gum. So how do you know if your little one is teething or if there is another concern? Signs of teething include gnawing, ear pulling, and a change in eating habits, all of which a baby does instinctively to relieve pressure. Also look for fussiness especially at night, puffy gums, and excessive drooling.
Chamomile
Chamomile has been used for centuries. There are several types of chamomile but German chamomile is the most common and the one used in the preparation of Camilia. Often used in its raw form as a tea to relieve digestive upsets and as a mild calmative, Chamomilla is used in homeopathic medicines like Camilia to calm babies during a pain-related tantrums, where they’re soothed by being rocked.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I give Camilia Teething Medicine to my child?
The recommended dosage is one entire liquid dose; repeat every 15 minutes for 2 more doses. This repetition of 3 doses can be repeated 3 times a day for a total of 9 doses each day. If your child is still presenting symptoms after 3 days, we recommend confirming with your pediatrician that your child’s symptoms are caused by teething and not a more serious underlying condition. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days or worsen, or if inflammation, fever, or rash develops.
What are the active ingredients in Camilia?
Camilia contains three active ingredients–Chamomilla 9C HPUS (German chamomile), Phytolacca decandra 5C HPUS (Poke plant), and Rheum 5C HPUS (Chinese rhubarb). A homeopathic medicine’s active ingredients are listed on the product label in Latin, which is the international packaging standard.
On the label, 5C and 9C indicate the homeopathic dilution. The Centesimal scale or “C,” means that each dilution is 100 times more diluted than the previous one. The number, 5 or 9, indicates how many times the substance has been diluted using this process. For instance, 5C is 100 times more diluted than 4C.
HPUS stands for Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States. The HPUS defines the production and usage standards recognized by all reputable manufacturers and the federal government. Parents should look for this acronym on labels of homeopathic products. It ensures consumers that the ingredients were prepared according to the high standards of this official guideline.
Does Camilia have any known side effects? Does it have any contraindications or interact with other medications?
Camilia has no known side effects and no contraindications. It can be taken with other medications you may be giving your child.
Reviews

I keep a stock box of Camilia in my office. I often use it to calm irritable teething infants and toddlers in my office to make the whole “trip to the doctor” experience more comfortable for everyone! I recommend it to all my new moms who have had nothing but positive things to say about how Camilia calms their babies.

In my holistic pediatric practice in Northern California, I routinely recommend Camilia as my number one choice for fussy, uncomfortable, teething babies. The babies willingly open their mouths to receive this good-tasting medicine, resulting in happy babies and happy parents. Why would I ever recommend anything else?

My family and I are big fans of Boiron’s Camilia teething relief. We have used this all-natural and drug-free product on both of our kids and Camilia helped with their painful gums and irritability.

I wanted to reach out and tell you how pleased I was with Camilia for my daughter’s teething symptoms. The past couple nights have been rough with her waking up in the middle of the night with gas so I tried Cocyntal and, again, my daughter had total relief! I wasn’t sure if the product was right for her because she is no longer an infant but boy was I wrong. I swear by these products.

I give my children nothing else when they are teething. It’s gentle, easy, and my babies go to sleep when their gums don’t hurt. Thank you, Camilia. My 3-year-old and 1-year-old twin daughters all love you!
